From Four Continents to Baja California Sur

Hi! I’m Cristian, founder of Daraban Build, an animal lover and a passionate home design professional.

My journey in construction began with remodeling houses and buildings in the United States, where I learned from the ground up what it truly means to rehabilitate floors, homes, and entire spaces. That’s where I understood something fundamental: construction is learned hands-on, by caring for every detail and respecting the craft.

Later, I worked in the construction of wooden homes in Norway—an experience that completely changed how I understand building. In that extreme climate, I mastered thermal insulation and energy-efficiency techniques that I now apply here in BCS, where relentless heat demands the same level of technical precision as the Norwegian cold.

More than 20 years ago, I specialized in drywall systems, eventually founding and leading my own installation company in Spain. There, we completed dozens of residential and commercial projects, always under the same standard: uncompromising quality and strict deadline compliance.

Later on, I participated in the construction of wind farms in several countries—projects where there is zero margin for error. That stage strengthened my discipline, technical precision, and ability to coordinate teams under international safety and planning standards.

Eventually, a wind energy project brought me to La Paz… and I stayed. Today, I put all that knowledge accumulated across three continents at the service of people like you, who want to build or remodel without the typical headaches of local construction.

Beyond Construction

I’m deeply passionate about animals and firmly believe in adopting instead of buying. My loyal companion is Nacho, my adopted dog who comes with me to the job site every day.
